River Edge Prevention Resource
Center provides educational
programs for schools and other youth facilities on the topics
of
substance abuse prevention, adolescent issues, pregnancy
prevention,
violence prevention, and sexually transmitted
disease prevention. They
are part of River Edge Behavioral
Health Center and are currently
funded by grants.
Mission Statement
The Mission of
River Edge Prevention Resource Center is to
provide a variety
of services especially designed to identify and utilize
research-based strategies to prevent Use & Abuse of Alcohol,
Tobacco,
& Other Drugs, Violent Behaviors, and Other High-Risk
Activities.
Vision Statement
The four county area will be a Community that protects its
Families
and Children from the dangers of High-Risk Behaviors
by providing
comprehensive Substance Abuse Prevention Education.
